MIU General Permit
CT DEEP General Permit for Discharges from Miscellaneous Industrial Users (MIU GP)
The District is reviewing and approving the CT DEEP General Permit for Discharges from Miscellaneous Industrial Users (MIU GP). Please complete the MIU GP Notification form, the Approval for Connection/Transport to a POTW form, (with Part 1 and Part 3 completed), and Attachment A; and email completed forms to info@mattdist.org
Please note that Part 3 of the Approval for Connection/Transport to a POTW form has to be completed by the local WPCA.
If your discharge is a Group I or Group II discharge, please also submit Attachment C. For Group I or Group II discharges, please submit an analytical for the discharge demonstrating that the pollutant limit requirements are consistent with the District’s Sewer Discharge Rules and Regulations of the Mattabassett District, amended April 24, 2018. (Please see the District/DEEP Limits schedule for the sewer pollutants and limits). Please also note that the District has more pollutants, and more stringent pollutant limit requirements, than those required by the MIU GP, and as indicated in the CT DEEP MIU GP instructions.
